Bec & Curtis had their wedding in a beautiful winery, so the theme was rustic with lots of pastel & white roses. The bridesmaids gowns were teal blue, so this colour was also used sparingly in the different floral elements, such as bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes and reception flowers.
Bec’s bouquet consisted of pastel pink, apricot and white roses, with sweetly perfumed freesias, scabiosa, astilbe and pink berries. The foilages included dusty miller, gum and leather fern which helped to create the slight trailing effect in the front of the bouquet.
Bridal Party (Blue & White) flowers
The bridesmaids were stunning in teal blue gowns, so their bouquets incorporated blue flowers such as delphinium and sea holly. The boys had buttonholes with white roses and sea holly to accentuate their grey suits.
Gazebo Ceremony Florals
The huge gazebo had views of the winery behind and an arch/portico entrance. Floral arrangements decorated the gazebo & portico and hanging vases with pastel roses were used on the aisle chairs.
The rustic theme continued in the reception room which was surrounded by wooden porches. The bridal table was decorated with a floral garland in front of a custom made sign in teal blue “Mr & Mrs Smith”. The guest tables had a wooden slice, small vases of flowers and a candle. The flower adorned cake was placed on a wine barrel, and a large statement vase of blue hydrangeas, flowering camellia and King protea nestled on the gift table.
